Preparing Our Homes and Hearts for Christmas

On Wednesday, December 1, the Knights of Blessed Mother Council sought to remind our parish family of the “forgotten” season of Advent by sponsoring an Advent Holy Hour of Reflection.

Over 100 parishioners turned out to hear Fr. Timothy Canaan lead an hour of reflection that included scripture, prayer, song, along with a benediction to the Holy Eucharist to prepare our homes and hearts for the coming of Jesus. To, as the prophet Isaiah announced, “Make straight in the wasteland a highway for our God!”

It was about putting Christ back in Christmas during this busy season.

And, as with all good Knights of Columbus events, cookies and coffee followed!

We thank all of you who were able to join us in preparation for this holy season!
